Purpose of the processing<\/h2><p>Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:<\/p><h3>Service provision<\/h3><ul><li><p>Create and manage the user\u2019s account.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Allow the app to be used.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Generate personalised books and content using artificial intelligence.<\/p><\/li><li><p>To store and synchronise the user\u2019s memories and content.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3>Premium payment and access management<\/h3><ul><li><p>Manage access to premium features purchased by the user.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Check purchases made via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3>Service improvement and maintenance<\/h3><ul><li><p>To ensure the app works properly.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Correct technical errors.<\/p><\/li><li><p>To improve the stability, security and performance of the service.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3>Communications<\/h3><ul><li><p>Send service-related communications.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Inform users about updates, technical issues, or relevant changes.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3>Regulatory compliance<\/h3><ul><li><p>Comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h2>4. Legal Basis for Processing<\/h2><p>The legal bases that justify the processing of personal data are:<\/p><ul><li><p>User consent.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Performance of the contract arising from use of the App.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Compliance with legal obligations.<\/p><\/li><li><p>The controller&rsquo;s legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the platform.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h2>5. Artificial Intelligence<\/h2><p>Some Alwways features use artificial intelligence services provided by third parties.<\/p><p>To generate responses, stories, and personalized content, certain conversations and content submitted by the user may be sent to specialized technology providers.<\/p><p>Alwways does not use user-provided content to train its own artificial intelligence models or to improve its systems without the user\u2019s express consent.\n\nAfter login or registration, users must accept explicit AI consent before using Titi. OpenAI processes chat messages and optional voice input converted to text.<\/p><h2>6. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties<\/h2><p>Alwways may share personal data with third-party providers necessary to deliver the service, including:<\/p><ul><li><p>OpenAI, for AI-generated content.<\/p><\/li><li><p>DigitalOcean, for server and database hosting.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Firebase (Google), for notifications, analytics, authentication, and technical features.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Apple App Store and Google Play Store, for app distribution and purchase management.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>All these providers will process the data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection regulations.<\/p><h2>7. International Data Transfers<\/h2><p>Some technology providers used by Alwways may be located outside the European Economic Area.<\/p><p>When international data transfers occur, Alwways will take the measures necessary to ensure an adequate level of protection in accordance with applicable law.<\/p><h2>8. Data Retention<\/h2><p>Personal data will be retained for no longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.<\/p><p>In particular:<\/p><ul><li><p>Data will be retained while the user\u2019s account remains active.<\/p><\/li><li><p>When the user requests account deletion, their data will be deleted or anonymized within a maximum of thirty (30) days, except where legal retention is required.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Data related to legal or tax obligations may be retained for the periods required by applicable legislation.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h2>9. Minors<\/h2><p>Alwways may be used by people of any age.<\/p><p>Where applicable law requires it, processing of minors\u2019 personal data must have authorization from their parents or legal guardians.<\/p><h2>12.
